Organised in the framework of the ASMeC project, the public conference YOUTH PERSPECTIVES – How are climate change and migrations perceived by Mediterranean students? will gather institutional representatives, academics and external experts to debate around the attitudes, expectations and actions of students in the Mediterranean basin with regard to climate and environmental change and the consequent migration flows.

The results of the survey that was distributed among the students, and through which we collected the feedback of almost 2000 respondents, will be presented by the partners universities, thus providing a first analysis of the perceptions young people in the region have about the project topics.

The speakers and the participants in the conference will have the opportunity to exchange on the results presented and, in general, on the impact climate change has in the Mediterranean region.

A scientific publication, building on the existing scientific literature, on an in-depth analysis of the results of the survey and on the know-how of the academics and experts involved, will be issued in the Autumn.

The AGENDA is available here.
